Odd Shell Light
A incomplete lighting collection that unfolds through various compositions of curved aluminum shells attached to a cylindrical soft core of raw PUR rubber.
Each lamp is unique in its asymmetric composition and ever shifting contours. The lamps provides a soft light diffused through the PUR cylinder. Depending on orientation of the lamp, the aluminum shells functions either as a shade or a reflector of the light.
The inspiration takes departure in organic abstraction. It is infused by a curiosity about an open way of giving shape, and explores how does the abstract flow of thoughts takes form?
